The half reactions of whole redox reactions are
ZnZn2++2eCu2++2eCu
As zinc is oxidizing, it dissolves and forms Zn2+ ions leaving the electrons in the rod which transfer to the Cu rod which are used in reducing the Cu2+ ions as Cu2++2eCu
So the electrons transfer from Zn rod to Cu rod.
So the current flows exactly opposite to the flow of electrons i.e., from Cu to Zn rod.
