(1) Bohr's model accounts for the stability of atoms because the electron cannot lose more energy than it has in the smallest orbit.
(2)according to the uncertainty principle, it is impossible to determine simultaneously the exact position and the momentum (or velocity) of a microscopic particle-like electron. thus, Bohr's model contradicts Heisenberg's uncertainty principle.
