Effect - Milk ejection hormone
Oxytocin hormone is synthesised by hypothalamus and stored and released by posterior pituitary. In females it stimulates vigorous contraction of the uterus at the time of child birth, and milk ejection from the mammary gland.
Parathyroid hormone is released by parathyroid gland. It is responsible for increasing blood calcium levels. When there is fall in blood calcium levels below normal. Parathyroid hormone is released and it causes bone resorption resulting in movement of calcium from bone to blood.
