The correct option is D Wood
The lightning rod is made of an excellent conductor which allows the flow of charge to the ground without causing any damage to the building. Wood is a poor conductor of electricity and it does not allow the flow of charges through it. Hence, we cannot use wood as a lightning rod. On the other hand iron, copper and aluminium are metals which are good electrical conductors and suitable for using as lightning conductors.
