An electric wire is ​
  • Ductile - Property of substance to be drawn into wires​.
  • Electrical conductor - Ability of a material to allow the passage of electric current​.
Both these properties are of metals.​
Among the given options, Phosphorus and carbon are non-metals. So they cannot be used to make electric wires.​
On the other hand, sodium and aluminium are metals. But sodium is non-ductile, hence, cannot be used to make electric wires.​
So, aluminium is the correct answer.​
