Solution

The correct option is A Rubbing ink on the paper using engraved woodblocks.
The earliest printers were in the Eastern Hemisphere. In China, printing was done by rubbing ink on the paper that is placed over engraved woodblocks. The paper they made was porous and thin so they could not print on both sides. The ink bled through pages and made it impossible to write on both the sides.
