Solution

The correct option is A i.e Cornflakes in milk
Filtration is a separation technique that is used to separate the components of a solid-liquid mixture i.e. an insoluble solid substance from a liquid.
Cornflakes are insoluble solids in milk (liquid). The mixture is passed through a filter that allows one component (milk) to pass through it but blocks another component (cornflakes) from passing through. Hence they can be separated through the filtration method.
Oil and water are immiscible liquids, so they can not be separated by the filtration method.
Sugar in milk and salt in water is solid-liquid mixtures in which solids are properly dissolved in liquids. Hence these mixtures can not be separated by the filtration method.
