Due to hydrogen bonding molecule (a) remains in one plane and hence has a plane of symmetry.
Both ring in (b) remain in different plane due to steric repulsion. Since the molecule lacks of symmetry element responsible for optically inactivity, it will be optically active.
Molecule (c) has plane of symmetry and molecule (d) have centre of symmetry. So, molecules (c) and (d) are optically inactive.
