Solution

The correct options are
B Change in smell
C Change in colour
D Change in temperature
When some sugar is added to water, it gets dissolved and vanishes away without changing the colour of the water. Similarly, after sugar gets dissolved in water, there is no change in the smell or temperature of sugar water. Therefore, the change in temperature, smell or colour cannot be used to identify the change for this case.

After dissolving sugar, the water which has no taste starts to taste sweet. So change in taste can be used to identify the change here.
