Repolarization results from the movement of positively charged K+ ions out of the cell not into the cell.so, statement Y is incorrect. Hyperpolarization occurs in the initial stages of repolarization hence ionic imbalance is created on both the sides of nerve fibre. Thus, the correct answer is option C.
