Which of the following options is/are incorrect?
Non-metals are electron acceptor (it forms anion) that means whenever they react with metal they have the tendency to accept the electron and complete their noble gas configuration. Non-metal can't react with another non-metal because both have the tendency to accept the electron. Since both have same charge (negative charge) they repel each other and won't come together to form a compound. To overcome this short come, they share the electron and form the covalent bond. Hence, non- metal reacts with another non-metal. Compounds such as SO2, CO2, CN are formed by covalent bonds.
