Solution

The correct option is B Endoplasmic reticulum
Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) is a tube-like structure present in the cell, which extends all over the cell. The network of the endoplasmic reticulum is present in the cytoplasm. Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) exists as a membranous network enclosing a fluid-filled lumen which almost fills up the intracellular cavity. It is connected to the nuclear membrane. Hence, nucleo-cytoplasmic exchange of materials is carried out by endoplasmic reticulum. Intracellular transport is also carried by ER through its lumen to Golgi body, cytoplasm and plasma membrane.
