Lysosomes are single membrane bound vesicular structures formed in the Golgi apparatus. They contain powerful hydrolytic enzymes. They do not contain any DNA.

Vacuole is the membrane-bound space found in the cytoplasm of a cell. In plant cells, vacuoles occupy 90% of the cell volume. DNA is absent in vacuoles.
