Solution

The correct option is C Scrotum
The external genitalia of male reproductive system consists of scrotum and penis.
The scrotum is present outside the abdominal cavity and houses the testes. It maintains a temperature of around 2-2.5℃ lower than the body temperature which is necessary for the production and viability of sperms.
Externally the scrotum looks like a single pouch of skin separated into lateral portions by a median ridge called the raphe.
The scrotum remains connected with the abdominal cavity through passages called inguinal canals. They help in the descent of the testes into the scrotum.
The testes hang in the scrotum with the help of spermatic cords, which are tubular structures consisting of blood vessels nerves and ducts.
