Which of the following wires are used for household circuits?
Multistrand wire
Stranded wire is nothing but a combination of thin wires wrapped together to form a thicker conductor. Stranded wire is more flexible than a solid wire of the same total cross-sectional area. Silver and gold are costly metals, so they are not preferred to make strand wires. And we are dealing with circuit, so there is no use of laminated plates in it.
