Na/ether: It is used to synthesize symmetrical alkane from an alkyl halide in Wurtz reaction.

Hydroboration and aq. KOH:
The reaction is shown below:

Here, in the first step, anti-Markovnikov addition of HBr takes place which gives 1-Bromopropane and it reacts with aq. KOH in SN2 pathway to give propan-1-ol.

Acidic KMnO4:
It oxidises alkene to carboxylic acid.
