In bar graphs or histograms, the width of the bar is taken to be unity. So, the area of the bar i.e. height x width = height. So, we take the height of the bars. Conventionally, the mid-point of the top edge of the consecutive bars are joined together to get the line graph. Actually we can take any point on the top edge because height of all the points on the top edge of any bar will be same. So, both options A & B are correct.
