Solution
The correct option is C Tobacco mosaic virus Tobacco mosaic virus is a positive sense coiled single-stranded RNA virus that infects tobacco and other members of the family Solanaceae. Tobacco mosaic virus has a rod-like an appearance. Its capsid is made from 2130 capsomeres and one molecule of genomic single strand RNA which is 6400 bases long. The coat protein self-assembles into the rod-like helical structure around the RNA which forms a hairpin loop structure. Inside the core helix, coiled RNA molecule is present. Coiled RNA is absent in measles, retrovirus and poliovirus.
