a)Object moving with variable velocity but fixed acceleration
b)Object moving with uniform velocity but non uniform acceleration
c)Object moving with uniform speed but variable acceleration

Solution

Dear Student,

(a) & (c) are possible, but (b) is not possible

(a). When a ball is thrown upwards after reaching a certain height its velocity becomes zero but an constant acceleration , g = 9.8 m/s2 acts on it due to gravity downwards.

(c). When the blades of the fan are rotating with a constant speed due to constant change in direction velocity is changing and as velocity is changing so it is acceleration motion but with constant speed.
