Solution

The correct option is B SO3
In chemistry, an electrophile (literally electron lover) is a reagent attracted to electrons. Electrophiles are positively charged or neutral species having vacant orbitals that are attracted to an electron-rich centre.

Sulfur is bonded to three oxygens, twice each. The sulfur in the middle technically has a formal charge of zero, but the oxygens it is bonded to are extremely electronegative, and so the sulfur atom in the middle has a partial plus charge on it.
Hence, it will be willing to accept electrons to try to compensate.

Hence, the correct option is B
