The sultans of the Deccan Sultanate managed to gather common enemies of the Vijayanagara Empire and formed a sort of collective league of all enemies. From there, it all started. Tirumala Raya and Krishnadeva Raya's son in law, Aliya Rama Rayasurvived the battle. Tirumaladeva took as much treasure and wealth from Hampi as possible. He went to Chandragiri and established an offshoot of the Vijayanagara empire there. And so, the Aravidu dynastywas born Penukonda as the capital.
