B Area of A = Area of B

In figure A: There are 3 squares along the length and 2 squares along the breadth.
Perimeter of figure A = length + breadth + length + breadth
= 3 + 2 + 3 + 2 = 10 cm

In figure B: There are 6 squares along the length and 1 square along the breadth.
Perimeter of figure B = length + breadth + length + breadth
= 6 + 1 + 6 + 1 = 14 cm

Perimeter of A < Perimeter of B

Also, area is the total number of boxes contained by the figure,
