They help in the process of recycling of nutrients by breaking down the complex organic matter into its simpler form. This organic and nutrient matter gets mixed with soil and is absorbed or taken up by the plants. • Van Mahotsav or forest festival is an annual tree-planting festival celebrated in the month of July in which thousands of trees are planted all over the country.
