Women and children who work as domestic help are not paid enough. Very often working conditions are bad. They work for long hours and get paid less. In some instances, domestic workers are even mistreated by their employers. Some of them work as part-time workers in different houses while others work for full time. They may stay in the same household in which they are working. Unlike people working in companies or government offices, domestic workers do not get leaves, pension, and other such benefits. They may not even have fixed working hours.
