A cube is a pile of squares whereas a cuboid is a pile of rectangles.Every square is a rectangle and every cube is a cuboid.Therefore (i) is true.

In the figure, the corners are highlighted with yellow circles which are 8 in number.The edges are highlighted with red lines which are 12 in number and the faces are 6 in number which is black in colour. Hence (iii) is true .So, statements (i) and (iii) are true.
