(i) and (iii)


A cube is a pile of squares whereas a cuboid is a pile of rectangles. A square is a special kind of rectangle, it is one where all the sides have the same length. Thus, every square is a rectangle. Hence, all cubes are cuboids and not all cuboids are cube. Therefore (i) is true and (ii) is false.

In the figure, the corners are highlighted with yellow circles that are 8 in number. The edges are highlighted with orange lines that are 12 in number. The faces are highlighted in black that are 6 in number. Hence (iii) is true. So, statements (i) and (iii) are true.
