f(x)=3x2+12x1,1x2
f(x)=6x+12
So, for 1x2, f(x)>0
So, f(x) is increasing in [1,2]

f(x)=37x,2<x3

So, f(x) is decreasing in (2,3]

So, the answer is option (C)
