Surdas (1483-1563) and Tulsidas (1532-1623) were Vaishnavite Bhakti saints of the 16th century. The blind poet Surdas was a disciple of Vallabhacharya. His Sursagar recounts the exploits of Krishna during his childhood and youth. The worship of Rama was popularised by saints like Tulsidas. They considered Rama as the supreme God. So both the statements 1 and 2 are correct.
