Solution

The correct option is B (v) only
The columnar epithelium is composed of epithelial cells that are column-shaped. The cell comprising the columnar epithelium is taller than it is wide. The nucleus in each cell is elongated and often found near the base. The free surface of these cells has very tiny projections called microvilli , which are specialized for absorption (absorptive cells). This type of epithelia lines the small intestine where it absorbs nutrients from the lumen of the intestine. Simple columnar epithelia are also located in the stomach where it secretes acid, digestive enzymes and mucous. Ciliated columnar epithelium tissues including the bronchi, uterine tubes, and uterus; smooth (nonciliated tissues) are in the digestive tract bladder.
Thus statement v is incorrect.
