The carnivorous animals in turn are dependent on herbivorous animals for their food. Human beings are also dependent directly or indirectly on the plants and herbivorous animals for their food. On the other hand during photosynthesis plants take in carbon dioxide and release oxygen which is very much essential for respiration of all animals and human beings.
