One mole is defined as the amount of substance containing as many elementary entities (atoms, molecules, ions, electrons, radicals, etc.) as there are atoms in 12 grams of carbon-12.
One mole contain Avogadro's number of particles i.e. 6.022×1023 particles.
Oxygen gas consist of 6.022×1023molecules, and one molecule contains 2 oxygen atoms. So total number of oxygen atoms present in one mole of oxygen gas is twice the Avogadro's number.
