It is dissacharide which is formed by the linkage of fructose and glucose.
The anomeric carbons C $_{1}$ of the glucose and C $_{2}$ of fructose are linked by glycosidic bonds so they lack hemiacetal group nor a hemiketal group.
Thus, they cannot be oxidised by a weak oxidising agent. So, the are stable and are non-reducing sugar.
