Photosynthesis is the process of production of food in the presence of sunlight It has two steps, in the first step, light energy is trapped by the chlorophyll and converted it into the chemical energy and called as the light reaction.

In the second stage, these chemical energy is utilized to prepare food from water and carbon dioxide and called as dark reaction.
