Compressibility is the property of a substance where it can change its volume on applying external pressure.

Gases have a large space between their particles and very weak force of attraction. Hence, oxygen and natural gas are compressible. Whereas solids have negligible space between their particles and thus cannot be compressed on applying pressure.
