Solution

The correct option is A Telomere
Chromosomes are formed by the condensation of chromatin. Each chromosome consists of 2 chromatids called sister chromatids.
A centromere holds the 2 chromatids together. It divides the chromosomes into short p arm and long q arm. It is also referred to as primary constriction.
Kinetochore is a proteinaceous disc shaped structure on the sides of the centromere. It helps in the attachment of spindle fibres during cell division.
Telomere refers to the terminal ends of the chromatids.
Secondary constriction are found at sites other than the primary constriction. They are found mostly at the terminal ends.
Satellites are the part of the chromosomes separated by secondary constriction. They help in distinguishing between organisms. They also help in the formation of nucleolus after cell division.
