The correct option is B Theory of special creation
Theory of special creation believes that life was created by a supernatural power, life has not changed or diversified since its origin and the earth is about 4000 years old. This theory lacks scientific evidence so it is not accepted.
Theory of spontaneous generation believes that life originated from non-living things or decaying and rotting matter spontaneously. It was strongly supported by Von Helmont. The popular beliefs of this theory were that dirty sewers gave rise to rats, wet soil led to creation of toads, meat broth gave rise to flies etc.
Panspermia theory says that life came from outer space. It is believed that units of life called spores were transferred to earth by asteroids or meteors from the space which germinated to give rise to life on earth. However, it was just a speculation and enough evidence could not be gathered or provided to back up the theory.
Oparin and Haldane proposed the chemical evolution of life. According to this theory, the inorganic constituents present in the primitive earth like ammonia, methane, hydrogen and water vapour reacted to form the simple organic micromolecules.
More complex organic macromolecules were formed from these simple micromolecules. Macromolecules or polymers formed in primitive oceans came together and formed large colloidal drop-like structures. It is believed that these colloidal drop-like structures formed the first cell.
