DPT is a class of combination vaccines against three infectious diseases in humans, diphtheria, pertussis and tetanus. Hib is used for Hemophilus influenzae type B vaccine and it can be recommended at the age of 2-6 months. Its higher doses can be given at the age of 2-5 years. Polio vaccine acts against the poliomyelitis virus. It is given at 2 months of age and can be given till 3 years.

BCG vaccine is given when the baby is one week old. Hepatitis B vaccine should be given around 6 months of age. MMR vaccine is given at the age of 12 months.
