The major difference between a plant and animal cells are the presense of cell wall and plastids (more specifically chloroplasts). Other differences that you maybe able to note at a single glance will be that, the nucleus will be to the side in a plant cell compared to the centre aligned nucleus in an animal cell. Also the animal cells will be round or irregular in shape, while plant cells are almost always rectangular in shape.
