For two straight intersecting lines sum of adjacent angles is 180 and vertically opposite angles are equal.
In the attached figure
1+2=2+3=3+4=4+1=180 (Adjacent angles on straight lines)
1=3 and 2=4 (Opposite angles)
So option B is correct.
