Law of segregation is the Mendel's second law which states that every individual possesses two alleles and only one allele is passed on to the offspring. It is the only law without any exceptions hence universally true in all cases.
Law of dominance is the Mendel's first law. It is not universally applicable as there are cases of incomplete dominance or co-dominance. This causes deviations from Mendelian inheritance.
