Which of the statements given below is correct?

(i) In winter the winds flow from the land to the ocean.
(ii) In summer the winds flow from the land towards the ocean.
(iii) A cyclone is formed by a very high-pressure system with very high-speed winds revolving around it.

The answer is (i).

Land gets heated up or cooled down very quickly when compared to the ocean. In winter, the land becomes colder than the ocean because of the cold climate. So, the air over the ocean is warmer than that over the land. The warmer air over the ocean rises up because of its low density creating a low-pressure area over the ocean. Then, the wind flows from the high-pressure area i.e land to the low-pressure area i.e ocean.
