• Weather is a day to day atmospheric condition at a place at that particular time whereas the average weather taken over a long period of time (25 years or more) is called climate. (1 mark)
• Weather is dependent on certain atmospheric conditions such as temperature, humidity, winds, clouds and precipitation. (1 mark)
• Since these atmospheric conditions change constantly, they can also change in a short span of time. So, from sunny weather it can become windy to rainy, all on the same day. Thus, the weather of a place can change frequently as compared to climate. (1 mark)
