Which of these defects is not usually detected by ECG?
Valvular defects
Physical examination may reveal a murmur (an unusual heart sound that can be heard with a stethoscope), evidence of heart enlargement and/or fluids within the lungs. Echocardiography uses an echo to produce the image of the heart muscle and its valves and accurately assess their function using Doppler ultrasound. Valvular defects are not detected by ECG.
