Which of these statements are true when considering the formation of a scar?
When connective tissues heal the wound, the scar remains.
Healing of the wound is a stage that comes after inflammatory response and blood clotting. When a wound occurs, new tissues are formed in place of the tissues damaged by the wound. In such situations, the wound scar does not remain. But, in cases where new tissues cannot be formed, the connective tissue heals the wound. In such situations, the wound scar remains as the fibres formed here are different from fibres formed by normal tissues.
