Which of these switches is a momentary switch which breaks the circuit when the external pressure is removed?
Bell switch
A bell switch is a momentary switch which gets activated only when it is pressed. Once the external pressure on the switch is removed, the circuit breaks. This switch is used on doorbells.
A one-way switch works as a make or breaks switch. When it is turned on, the two terminals are connected, and when it is turned off, the contact between the two is broken.
A two-way switch is basically two one-way switches combined into one, i.e. one of the terminals can be connected to either of the remaining two but both cannot be connected at the same time.
On the other hand, a double-pole switch connects an input terminal to one of two output terminals. Thus, a double-pole switch has three terminals. One of the terminals is called the common terminal.
