Which one is true about guttation?
Guttation refers to the exudation of water droplets from the margins and tips of leaves. During guttation, water is exuded from group of leaf cells through specialized openings or pores called hydathodes. It occurs in some angiosperms like garden nasturtium (Tropacolum) colocasia, tomato, etc., and is most noticeable where transpiration is suppressed and relative humidity is high such as during the night. It also takes place early in the morning, when soil moisture, root pressure and rate of water absorption is higher.
