The correct option is A 44+XX
Humans have 23 pairs of chromosomes in each cell. Among them, 22 pairs are autosomes and the remaining 1 pair has sex chromosomes.
Both the sex chromosomes in females are X . Whereas, sex chromosomes in males are X and Y.
Gametes (ovum and sperm) are the reproductive cells that fuses during sexual reproduction to form a zygote. The zygotic cell contains 46 chromosomes with 23 chromosomes from each parent. Thus sperm has either 22+X or 22+Y and ovum has 22+X.
Hence, the zygotic cell with chromosomal composition of 44+XX would lead to the birth of female child and the one with 44+XY would lead to the birth of male child.
