The electromagnet in figure (b) is stronger. The strength of a magnetic field increases with an increase in the number of turns of the coil of a solenoid. The solenoid in figure (b) has more number of turns than the one in figure (a). Hence, the solenoid in figure (b) is a stronger electromagnet.
