Hash, also called hashish, is a drug that is derived from a plant called hemp or Cannabis sativa and belongs to the group cannabinoids. Cannabinoids affect cardiovascular system of the body, dilate pupils, raise blood sugar level, bring about a state of well being, excitement, increased appetite, dry mouth, alteration of thoughts, perceptions and hallucinations, etc.

Morphine is a strong analgesic, depresses respiratory centre, increases blood sugar, reduces heartbeat, blood pressure and urine output; it also has sedative and calming effects.
