Ampulla
Ampulla is one of the four regions of Fallopian tubes. The oviducts (Fallopian tubes), uterus and vagina constitute the female accessory ducts. Each Fallopian tube is about10-12 cm long and extends from the periphery of each ovary to the uterus.The Fallopian tube shows four regions, i.e., fimbriae, infundibulum, ampulla and isthmus. Ampulla region is the long, wide, thin-walled part next to the infundibulum.
